Dottie has required specialist consultations, advanced imaging, multiple orthopedic surgeries, ongoing physiotherapy, lifelong pain management, and regular veterinary monitoring. Her care involves significant time, planning, and financial commitment. Our lives are planned around her needs. We consider accessibility, travel, exercise, pain management, and veterinary care in many of the decisions we make. She is worth every bit of that effort, but it is a responsibility we chose to accept.
